Yorkshire Forward and Future Energy Yorkshire held an information day on September 11th 2008 to explore two government consultations that were open at that time.

The two consultations that were under discussion were:

• UK Renewable Energy Strategy, released by BERR on the 26th June 2008, with all responses due by the 26th September 2008; and

• Reform of the Renewables Obligation, released by BERR on the 26th June 2008, with all responses due by the 30th September 2008.

The event proved to be very popular with some lively debate of key topics and issues for project developers, consultants and local authorities in the region.
