Grid Connected Renewables Funding

Future Energy Yorkshire is pleased to announce £5 million of funding to encourage the development of new renewable electricity generation in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

The funding is in three streams:

• Emerging renewable technologies
• Flagship projects
• Community ownership of renewables

To be eligible, the generation must be in the Yorkshire and Humber region and connected to the national electricity Grid.  The selection procedure will be competitive and a key selection factor will be the amount of CO2 savings per pound bid.

Funding will be subject to the EU rules on state aid.

Any queries or questions can be sent to gcr@fey.org.uk
